Welcome to The Katiya Experience!
Curated Experiences. Inspired Connections.
I didn't find this path. I finally stopped ignoring it.
For most of my career, I operated at the highest levels of corporate America — leading teams, managing complexity, and delivering results for organizations that valued my execution far more than my vision. I was good at it. But "good at it" and "built for it" are two very different things.
The passion that has defined me since I was a teenager has always been the same: creating experiences for people. Not managing processes. Not optimizing workflows. Experiences — the kind that stay with someone long after they've come home.
I gave myself permission to build a life around that.
The Katiya Experience is the beginning of something larger.
My long-term vision is The Katiya Collective — a hospitality and lifestyle ecosystem built around the belief that beautiful, intentional spaces change how people feel, connect, and grow. Physical event venues. A women's philanthropy foundation. Wine and boating experiences. Interior design built around sustainability and artisan craft. All of it is funded by, and rooted in, the travel business I’m building right now.
I’m not in a hurry. I know exactly where I’m going.
The Katiya Experience is the company I built around everything I’m naturally good at: meticulous planning, an instinct for what people need before they articulate it, and an uncompromising commitment to flawless execution.
I’m a travel advisor and MICE specialist, designing bespoke itineraries, corporate off-sites, and milestone celebrations for clients who want every detail handled with precision and care. I hold specialist certifications across key destinations and travel categories and have built strong relationships with travel suppliers globally — because every recommendation I make is grounded in verified expertise, not guesswork.
I launched The Katiya Experience Female Founder Retreats: an exclusive series of luxury retreats hosted entirely at female-founded and owned properties across four continents — designed for the women who build extraordinary things and deserve a space that was built entirely for them.
Why this matters to me is personal.
I know what it means to need a space where you're genuinely supported — where nothing is required of you except showing up as yourself. That understanding shaped who I am and what I build. I believe deeply that women deserve spaces like that, which is exactly why the retreats exist.
Motherhood and ambition were never in competition for me — I simply refused to let them be. I raised my son and built my career with equal intention, and the life I'm designing now is the natural extension of both.
His independence didn't change who I am. It changed what was possible.
So I left corporate, I started building, and I began designing a life that looks like the experiences I create for my clients — intentional, beautiful, and entirely my own. That includes traveling with intention. When I explore a destination, I do it firsthand — so every recommendation I make comes from lived experience, not a brochure. The places I discover, the hotels I stay in, the routes I take — all of it finds its way back to my clients.
Some decisions feel like risks. This one felt like arriving.
