Welcome to your South African escape. I’ve curated this luxury retreat to offer you a seamless, regenerative experience in the Franschhoek Winelands. Hosted at Sterrekopje—a restored 17th-century farmstead founded by partners Nicole Boekhoorn and Fleur Huijskens—this property is a living testament to intentional, restorative living.
This experience is a distinct departure from traditional business trips. From the moment you arrive, the focus is on a true exhalation. You’ll be welcomed with a grounding foot ritual—a gentle physical and metaphorical ‘landing’ at the farm—before settling into your room.
Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
Restorative Downtime: Sterrekopje has intentionally abandoned rigid rules, schedules, and expectations. Instead of back-to-back sessions, you can expect intuitive treatments in the historic Bath House, custom herbal teas from the Apothecary, and quiet moments to recharge in a copper bath.
Genuine Connection: You’ll share seasonal, farm-to-table meals sourced directly from the property’s gardens and bakery. These moments are designed for genuine community, allowing you to connect with an intimate cohort of fellow female founders in the Orangerie or around the kitchen counter without any pressure to perform or pitch.
Curated Creativity: The farm’s Atelier is an open invitation to step away from decision fatigue and simply create. Whether you choose to paint, mould clay, or journal under the olive trees, you’re given the space to remember who you are outside of your business.
See below for the full itinerary. Note: the itinerary is a sample schedule and subject to change based on seasonal offerings at the farm.
